Acer has announced that it will be launching its Enduro durable laptop and tablet in South Africa later this year, along with the price ranges for the devices.
Both the Enduro Urban N3 laptop and the Enduro Urban T1 tablet come with military-grade durability certification and resistance to spills.

Acer Enduro N3 laptop
The Urban N3 is a 14-inch laptop with MIL-STD 810H military standard and IP53 certifications, meant for use in outdoor and on-site settings. The laptop can resist fluctuating temperatures, as well as dust and water.
If water does enter the device, it has an Aquafan that helps drain the device and protect it from damage.
In addition to its durable design, it also features impressive hardware. This includes up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to a NVIDIA GeForce MX330 GPU, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage.
It also provides Wi-Fi 6 support and up to 13 hours of battery life.
Acer Enduro Urban T1 tablet
Meanwhile, the Enduro Urban T1 tablet is a 10-inch tablet that suits outdoor settings.
Like the Urban N3, it also has a military-grade certification and IP53 dust and water resistance.
The reinforced bumpers on the corners protect the device from bumps and falls. It also features Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass that helps keep the screen clean.
In terms of hardware, it has a quad-core processor, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear camera, and up to 8 hours of battery life.
Acer says that the device is suitable for families in pursuit of adventure, providing a useful device for an outdoor learning experience.
Price and launch date for South Africa
Both devices will launch in South Africa in July, according to Acer.
The price for the Enduro Urban N3 laptop will start at R18 999.
Meanwhile, the price for the Enduro Urban T1 tablet will start at R10 999.
