HUAWEI Watch 3 Series available for pre-order: What to know about the smartwatches
The new HUAWEI Watch 3 Series — consisting of two premium smartwatches — is available to pre-order in South Africa.
Here’s what to know about the series and its main features…
HUAWEI Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro
The new series includes two smartwatches: the Watch 3 and Watch 3 pro.
Both are premium smartwatches. However, the Watch 3 includes a sporty look with a slightly smaller battery and design while the Watch 3 Pro uses a classic watch design and has a larger battery with a slightly larger watch face.
According to HUAWEI, the smartwatches are a combination of premium design and innovative technology.
Both smartwatches include blood oxygen and heart rate monitoring, as well as skin temperature detection. They also support more than 100 workout modes.
The watches even feature handwashing detection. Other features include stress monitoring, sleep tracking, inactivity monitoring, and more.
They have built-in GPS support as well as eSIM support. You can also download apps on the watches and take calls on the devices. This means they can act as standalone communication devices, without needing to connect to your phone in order to connect to a network.
If you’re out on a run, both watches can also give you a severe weather warning.
In terms of battery life, the Watch 3 Pro provides up to five days of battery life with typical usage. But you can extend this up to 21 days with ultra-long battery life mode.
Meanwhile, the Watch 3 has up to three days of battery life with typical usage and 14 days with ultra-long battery life mode.
