Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A91 to sport 108MP camera
Earlier this year, Samsung announced no less than seven new Galaxy A series phones that would arrive in South Africa in 2019. We’ve seen two more announced earlier this month. Now, word on the street is that YET ANOTHER two are in the works.
The first, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A91, is also the first in the series to deviate from the Ax0 naming structure, hinting at Samsung’s future naming plans for its mid-range series.
The range-topping phone will sport some pretty ludicrous specs, according to SamMobile as spotted on Samsung’s Hungarian website, which includes 45W fast charging supported by the likes of the Note 10 series.
A quad rear camera setup is also planned, including Samsung’s 108MP sensor it launched earlier this month. A 16MP wide-angle, 12MP telephoto, and depth sensor will accompany it.
Samsung’s also planning a 5G version of the Galaxy A90, which would be the company’s cheapest 5G phone if launched.
It’s however not clear when we’ll be seeing these two devices globally or in South Africa.
