Nokia G10 coming to SA in June – price and details
HMD has announced that the recently unveiled Nokia G10 affordable smartphone will launch in South Africa in June — along with revealing the local price for the smartphone.
The G10 was announced along with five other new Nokia phones in a global event in April. The G10 is the first of these to launch in South Africa.
The device makes up part of the new mid-range G series, which includes it and the G20. It features a three-day battery life and comes equipped with Android 11.
“Our mission is to make high quality, long-lasting technology that is accessible to all whilst still bringing purposeful innovation to the mid-range segment,” Shaun Durandt, General Manager for Southern Africa at HMD Global, said in a statement.
“The Nokia G10 is a hero of our mid-range heartland.”
In terms of hardware, the phone has a 5050mAh battery, a 6.5-inch display, and a 13MP triple-lens main camera. It also comes with three years of guaranteed monthly security upgrades and two Android OS upgrades.

Nokia G10 price in South Africa
An exact launch date has not been set for the phone, but HMD says it will be available from “early June”.
The Nokia G10 price will start at R2 499 and will be available at selected Vodacom retailers.
