Super Bowl 48: Beckham gets naked, Microsoft inspires
Super Bowl. Let’s face it, everyone in the United States and the world pretty much spends the whole of January waiting for the first Sunday of February when some of the best advertising minds put together some of their greatest works.
If you like you can watch the football too, but 2014 was pretty disappointing — the Seattle Seahawks pretty much schooled the Denver Broncos in a very one-sided game. But no matter, there were some pretty awesome commercials that kept the audience entertained.
This year the car makers, who are usually at the top of most Super Bowl ad lists, didn’t wow that much. However, beer makers are coming into their own, telling stories and building great experiences as well as a kickass sense of humour. Then there is the staple of David Beckham and his body for H&M.
The clear winner of this year’s ads has to be tech giant Microsoft, which paid tribute to the great things technology has allowed the human race to achieve. Showcasing some of its tech and the ways which it has allowed for the advancement of the human race, Microsoft brought us to tears with its inspiring Super Bowl spot.
After all what is technology if not a way to connect, a way to change and a way to inspire.
