Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel stars on Entertainment Weekly cover

Entertainment Weekly has exclusively revealed the first images of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel in the upcoming eponymous flick.

Many expected a teaser trailer after the actress’s cryptic tweet published yesterday.

“Hey @EW I’m bored. Wanna break the Internet tomorrow?” she slyly wrote.

Instead of a trailer though, EW’s latest cover features Captain Marvel along with several images and a feature-story on the character.

After Marvel ripped the hearts and souls out of everyone with Avengers: Infinity War, fans have been eager to know more about the superhero that may save the universe from Thanos.

“Film fans know Carol Danvers only as the mysterious person paged by Nick Fury in the last scene”, writes Entertainment Weekly, referring to the after-credits scene that first teased the movie.

“When Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8, 2019, it’ll be the 21st entry in the MCU — and the first to star a solo female superhero,” the publication adds.

According to the reveal, even more interviews and information about this next big Marvel movie will roll out over the next few days.
