Google Doodle honours the late Steve Irwin on his 57th birthday

Google has honoured Steve Irwin with a Google Doodle depicting the late Crocodile Hunter’s adventures as a zookeeper and conservationist.
“Today’s slideshow Doodle celebrates and explores the life and legacy of wildlife conservationist and television personality Steve Irwin,” the company explained.
Irwin would have celebrated his 57th birthday today.
The Australian zookeeper died in 2006, after being attacked by a stingray while filming for a show.
“We are so proud that his legacy lives on, as that was his greatest wish,” said Irwin’s wife.
Irwin’s family continues to run their zoo in Australia and work on conservation projects.
