WhatsApp’s getting new animated stickers
A report by WABetaInfo revealed on Thursday that WhatsApp will soon feature animated stickers.
This means that users will now be able to send their contacts movable stickers, rather than the current static options.
Stickers, in its current form, was first introduced to WhatsApp in October 2018.
Screenshots posted by WABetaInfo suggest that the new stickers will mimic the options currently on Facebook and Messenger.
The feature is still in development but will be available on Android, iOS and web in the near future, the report claims.
