After seeing the trailers and watching a few interviews I wasn’t sure what to expect going into Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. But then again,…
Snow fell on Western Cape mountains after two cold fronts passed through the province on Monday and Tuesday, and South Africans didn’t miss the opportunity to catch it all on camera.
The mountains near Oudtshoorn, Ceres, and Worcester were painted white by winter.

But snow didn’t just fall in the Western Cape.

A timelapse of the snowfall in Sutherland was also posted by the South African Astronomical Observatory in Cape Town on Wednesday.

Lesotho was also transformed into an alpine kingdom.
South Africa may be sunshine and sunsets most of the time, but we love it when it snows too.
