Google Photos will now let you search for text in your camera roll
You can now search for text in images on Google Photos, a report by 9to5Google revealed on Thursday.
“You spotted it! Starting this month, we’re rolling out the ability to search your photos by the text in them,” Google confirmed in a tweet.

Once you find the photo you’re looking for, click the Lens button to easily copy and paste text. Take that, impossible wifi passwords 😏

The feature will give users the opportunity to sift through their camera roll faster, finding images based on the words in them.
Like Google suggests, this could come in handy for a Wi-Fi password you took a picture of, or even important notes and documents.
The feature is rolling out on Android, iOS and the web.
