Facebook on Thursday announced that it’s officially rolling out its dating service in the United States and 19 other countries.
Facebook Dating, which the company first revealed last year, is an in-app platform that Facebook users can set up to match and meet with other people.
The service allows you to add your friends on a “Secret Crush” list, where you can match with people who have you listed too.
“We’re also giving people the ability to integrate their Instagram posts directly into their Facebook Dating profile and giving people the ability to add Instagram followers to their Secret Crush lists,” Facebook further noted on its blog.
The platform also shows users, who must be over 18-years-old, other people on Facebook Dating with similar interests.
“If you are interested in someone, you can comment directly on their profile or tap on the Like button to let them know. If you aren’t interested, you can pass on them,” Facebook explained.
Facebook Dating is also planning on integrating with Facebook and Instagram Stories to “help you show, rather than tell, who you are”.
The service is currently available in Brazil, Singapore, Argentina, Vietnam and Thailand, just to name a few.
While Facebook noted that Dating will launch in Europe early next year, it did not mention when it will roll out to African countries.
