Netflix introduces ‘Latest’ and ‘Remind me’ features to help you stay in the loop

Netflix on Thursday announced new features rolling out to help us all stay up to date with the latest movies and series on the platform.

Now, users will find a “Latest” tab in their navigation bar, which will show them what’s “‘New This Week”, “Coming This Week” and “Coming Next Week”.

“This will allow members to explore all the latest additions to the service and also get a sneak peek at what they’ll be watching next,” Netflix said on its media blog.

The new features will make it easier for users to discover new content to watch on the platform

In addition to the new “Latest” section, the company also revealed a new “Remind me” button that will appear on upcoming movies and series.

Users can click the button to be notified when the show or movie airs.

The new features are rolling out to all users, including those on gaming consoles, in the coming weeks. Netflix further noted that Smart TV users will receive updates over the next few months.

The streaming company has been introducing a number of features to make it easier to find content to watch. Back in August, it launched a new “Collections” list for users to find human-curated content.
