Eskom: ‘low risk’ of load shedding for Monday evening
There is a “low risk of rotational load shedding” for Monday 4 March, power utility Eskom announced around midday.
In a tweet, the company detailed that it continues to encourage individuals and businesses to use power sparingly.
“Customers are advised to keep checking their load shedding schedules on the Eskom or municipal website, and plan on the assumption that load shedding will take place,” it added.
The utility on Friday suggested that there was a “high risk” that load shedding would occur on Friday and through the weekend, but that did not materialise.
“Thank you to all South Africans all customers [sic] for your co-operation and understanding,” it concluded.
