Google adds new ‘dynamic email’ features to Gmail
Google has added some new features to Gmail on desktop to help users access and respond to relevant information within emails more easily.
“Your emails can stay up to date so you’re always seeing the freshest information, like the latest comment threads and recommended jobs,” the company explained on its blog yesterday.
Users will also be able to interact with other Google feature through email threads.
“With dynamic email, you can easily take action directly from within the message itself, like RSVP to an event, fill out a questionnaire, browse a catalogue or respond to a comment,” the company explained.
Furthermore, Gmail will group your Google Docs comments into a single thread, instead of emailing you multiple times.
Dynamic emails, which are already being used by some businesses, have started rolling out to desktop users.
The company promises a mobile version “soon”.
