Shadow Complex Remastered edition is now available on PC for free

Chair Entertainment has remastered the popular Shadow Complex video game and released it for free on PC for a limited time. The game can be downloaded from the Shadow Complex website.

The remastered edition includes revamped graphics, achievements, and master challenges. Shadow Complex takes its gameplay inspiration from titles such as Metroid and Castlevania.

Shadow Complex was originally released in August 2009 for the Xbox 360 and is being remastered for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No dates have been given for its console release.

The game follows Jason Fleming (voiced by Nolan North) and his girlfriend Claire (Eliza Schneider) as they hike through the Olympic Mountains. They stumble upon a cave, which Clair opts to explore. When she doesn’t respond to Jason, he goes after her only to be discovered she’s being held prisoner by a terrorist group, and must put a stop to them.
