The iStore has confirmed that it will be stocking the red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in South Africa.
The red edition of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus sees a portion of the proceeds going towards the fight against HIV/Aids.
Other than the red colour scheme, this is the same iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. So that means a powerful A10 processor, a great main camera and a telephoto lens on the Plus-sized iPhone. Of course, another neat feature with these models is the wide colour gamut display.
As for pricing, the 128GB red iPhone 7 starts at R13 499, while the 256GB model starts at R15 499. Want the Plus-sized model? Then it’ll set you back R15 999 or R17 999 (128GB or 256GB respectively).
The news comes as Huawei, LG and Samsung ready their smartphones for the South African market. The P10 and Galaxy S8 launch next month, while LG’s G6 is out this Friday.
The Huawei P10 starts at R12 999, while the G6 has a R14 629 price tag and the Galaxy S8 starts at R15 499.
