The Gear4 Wembley case for the Huawei P20 is now available in South Africa, and is set to retail between R529 and R899.
Manufactured by accessories company STRAX, the Gear4 Wembley is the latest in a line of smartphone cases from the Gear4 stable to hit local shores.
The Huawei P20 variant offers similar protection assurances too, according to the company, including TPU construction and the use of D30 impact protection material, also used on motorbike leathers.
“TPU is a class of polyurethane plastics that offer various properties including elasticity, transparency, oil resistance, impact absorption and scratch protection,” the company notes in a release.
“D3O is the thinnest most advanced impact protection material in the world and its benefit can be seen at a molecular level: If the smart material is secure in a person’s hand or on a table, it is flexible.”
There’s no word from STRAX on when the Huawei P20 Pro case will be available in South Africa.
