The premium HUAWEI Watch 3 series has launched in South Africa, bringing a host of advanced smartwatch features to local consumers.

1. Is the HUAWEI Watch 3 waterproof?
Both watches in the series are water-resistant up to 50 meters.
You can use them for shallow-water activities including swimming in a pool or ocean.

Both watches support eSIM functionality, meaning that you can accept calls on the devices even when your phone is out of Bluetooth range.

The Watch 3 has a typical battery life of up to three days. When used in ultra-long battery life mode, this is extended to 14 days.
Meanwhile, the Watch 3 Pro has a battery life of up to five days. When you use the device in ultra-long battery life mode, this goes up to 21 days.
Typical battery life is slightly shorter when using the smartwatches with an iPhone.

You can use the Watch 3 smartwatches with an iPhone, so long as the phone has iOS 9.0 or later.
Just download the HUAWEI Health app on the App Store and pair the watch in the app.

The Watch 3 series is compatible with Android devices with Android 6.0 or later, including non-Huawei brands.
You simply need to pair the device using the HUAWEI Health app.
7. Watch 3 vs Pro: What’s the difference?
The smartwatches in the series differ mostly in terms of their design, battery life, and price.

The Watch 3 is the smaller of the two watches, with a sporty design. It measures 46mm, with a slightly smaller battery.
