LG’s upcoming Velvet detailed in a sultry teaser video
The LG Velvet has finally been unveiled. Well, kind of.
After weeks of teasers, LG has published a video detailing the design of its sleek G series replacement.
The phone’s rear end features a design unlike any phone on the market right now. Three rear cameras are mounted on the device’s left-hand side beneath one another. LG believes this raindrop-like design is an ode to the “natural world”.
Unlike raindrops, LG Velvet will also be available in three colours: a black, a shimmering red and green, and a pearlescent finish similar to Samsung’s recent flagships.
Around the front however, things get unfortunately familiar. A notch is very much top and centre, while the phone’s extremely long and slender, akin to Sony’s 21:9 Xperia devices.
Still, the video says very little about the launch date or the specs of those three cameras. We do however know that it’ll be powered by the Snapdragon 765G, suggesting a price much lower than its current V series flagships.
Have a look at the clip below.
