Even more features come to Instagram
There are just a few weeks left in 2018, but Instagram is still not done releasing features on its platform.
This week, the company has revealed three new features to help you communicate with your followers.
“Starting today, you’ll see new ways to interact with your friends and form a deeper connection with the people you follow on Instagram,” the company said on its blog.
The first two features involve an earlier 2018 release – the Questions sticker.
You can now respond to a Questions sticker using music from Instagram’s music library.
“Whether you want fresh music to get in the holiday mood, or new tunes to get you through the last few weeks of school, your friends can now help you find the perfect tracks.”
The feature is only available for Android and Apple users who have access to the platform’s music library.
The Question sticker will now also be available for Live videos on Instagram.
“To ask a question and have it answered Live, go to someone’s story and respond to their questions sticker as you normally would. If they go Live to answer, you’ll see “Q&A” in your stories tray. Join the Live video and you’ll see the question they’re answering at that moment,” the company explains.
This feature will be available for all users with the latest version of the app.
Lastly, there’s a new sticker.
The Countdown sticker allow you to set a count down clock that you can use in your Stories.
“Build excitement with friends while you count down to any upcoming moment, like the New Year or the end of day on a Friday,”said Instagram.
The sticker can be found and edited through your sticker tray, and your friends can follow or share it too, according to Instagram.
The feature, which is available globally, will notify followers when the countdown comes to an end.
