Cardi B is facing backlash after a live video she posted on Instagram three years ago made its way back into the spotlight.
In the video, the rapper reveals that she used to drug men and steal money from them in order to make ends meet.
The resurfacing of the video caused an angry, uncomfortable stir online, with people taking to Twitter to express their opinions about the star’s accountability.
Some referrred to the rapper as the “female Bill Cosby”.
Cardi B responded on Tuesday to the reactions via an Instagram post.
“I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited choices,” she wrote.
One can’t help but wonder if there will be any legal action involved.
