A report by The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday revealed that a Friends reunion special could be coming to HBO Max in the future.
According to the publication, sources claim that talks of a reunion involving the show’s six original main cast members are underway between the upcoming streaming platform and Warner Bros.
This means that fans of the popular 90s TV series could soon see their favourite characters get back together following the show’s 25-year anniversary.
Unfortunately, early discussions don’t necessarily confirm that a Friends reunion will definitely happen.
During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, however, actress Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green on the show, did admit that “something” is in the works.
Whether or not the reunion happens though, HBO Max will become the exclusive home of Friends when it launches next year.
